Welcome to “Learning with Toys”! A YouTube channel for kids dedicated to exploring the marvels of learning through play!

 

This idea sparked in the early days of the pandemic (2020), when our first baby arrived into this world. Without being able to socialize, go to daycare or be in nature, we were faced with the challenge of entertaining and educating our little one entirely from home. And that’s how, in those quieter and slow days, we delved into the world of meaningful toys. What began as a necessity soon revealed itself as a joyful breakthrough: toys can enrich a child's development, but also expose them to a whole new and fascinating world. Words, movements, concepts, skills, ideas, stories, colors and shapes were being unlocked during our playtime. From building blocks that promote problem-solving skills and critical thinking, to sensory toys that stimulate exploration, each toy plays a crucial role in shaping a child's growth. By intuitive play and the thorough curatorship of the toys we interact with, we empower the child's cognitive, language and motor development.

 

"Learning with Toys" celebrate high quality screen time without the guilt, by igniting curiosity, happiness, imagination and new skills. In a world driven by speed, overloaded by so many sounds, images and fastness in all media, we believe in learning slowly and simpler, enabling calmness, focus, patience and relevant enjoyment in the kids.

 

Did you know that for children, watching others perform a skill can provide a model for how to execute that task? Because our brain activates in a similar way as if we were performing that action ourselves. This is possible thanks to the ones and only mirror neurons! And they surely fire through observational learning. That is how watching us play can become your kid’s canvas for knowledge. And in the meantime, they are having so much FUN!
